Hi, I'm Lima Jordan!
German fashion designer based in London, with over ten years of professional experience in apparel and graphic design, creative direction, garment construction, pattern making, and product development. My expertise lies in CAD, womenswear design, denim, woven fabrics, and sustainability, with additional experience in menswear design, knitwear, textile print, interior design, digital marketing, and e-commerce. Innovative design, a sense of finesse, coupled with the ability to develop high-quality ready-to-wear apparel, unique products and contemporary collections from start to finish while maintaining brand aesthetics and meeting briefs, budgets, timelines, and tight deadlines, defines my design signature. I work with trend and mood boards, colourways, illustrations (digital and free-hand), sketches, tech packs and spreadsheets. My daily responsibilities also include concept planning, trend forecasting, design development, sourcing, and implementing technical knowledge. I am proficient with Adobe CC, know apparel 3D CAD and enjoy learning new software. With my international fashion network and knowledge of sustainable materials and textile standards, I stay on top of the latest news and technologies. I am a creative problem-solver with an eye for detail and a knack for bringing conceptual ideas to life. My career has taken me around the globe, working in the UK, Europe, and Australia, always aiming to deliver exceptional results. AllSaints, Free People, Levis, and Diesel Australia are some brands I worked with. In Melbourne, I launched the small, sustainable clothing brand, LMj. (lmjethical.com), which I showcased at Vancouver Fashion Week and Eco Fashion Week Australia, and the brand was featured in British Vogue. With my work, I aim to create positive change and empower diversity. The following pages contain a selection of freelance design projects and commercial in-house experience.
